Boutique Voir is anything but a joint purchasing and limitative website. When an offer is displayed on our online store, you can take the opportunity right away before other users make the same purchase. The moment you make a transaction, you automatically get the extra percentage you are entitled to: which is from 25 to 40 % more than any paid amount. Furthermore, there are no local restriction and no pre-established restaurant menus when you make a purchase with your Boutique Voir card. You can buy anything you want, benefit from local discounts (where applicable) offered by the merchant, and even pay the taxes on your purchase with your Boutique Voir card. 1. Become a Boutique Voir member.
2. Login to your account with your secure password.
3. Add funds to your online balance for the selected offer or offers.
4. Pay with your credit card to get (and see) a 25 to 40% bonus automatically added to your balance.
5. Get (by mail) your personalized Boutique Voir card (used for all your actual and future purchases) and show it every time you get the bill in restaurants and shops for which you have added funds (these funds are always increased, so you can always have a little more money than the funds you added, which you can spend while you are there).
6. Your Boutique Voir card will used like any bank card with the merchant’s own Boutique Voir terminal. Keep the card for all your next Boutique Voir purchases.
7. No restriction in store, no set menu in restaurants, even taxes can be paid with your card (only the tip, when applicable, is to be paid separately).

How does the personalized Boutique Voir card work?

After an online purchase with one or several store(s) or restaurant(s) of your choice, a Boutique Voir card with your name will be sent to you by mail. Then, you only have to show it when paying the bill at the store or restaurant for which you paid an amount on your online account. The merchant will then process your card though his terminal, just like a regular bank card. He will then see the available funds for his store and will give you your bill (with the remaining balance, if any, printed on it). Keep your card carefully because you will need it since all your present and future Boutique Voir purchases will be added to your card. Also, since this card is made of durable material, we are proud to help reduce our paper and plastic consumption.

And if you still have some unused money allocated for a store, you can put it back in your account to make other purchases on Boutique Voir.

How is the + 25 to 40% bonus set?

Everybody can get an extra 40% on every Boutique Voir purchase by subscribing to the VIP membership in order to benefit from exclusive features.

Basically, all members get an extra 25% on all purchases made with their Boutique Voir wallet.

Some business groups may have a higher bonus than 25% (but without the VIP privileges).

Boutique Voir already offers 25% more value to every member. The VIP Express  subscription allows you to get an additional 15%, for a total of 40% more value on all your purchases.

Let’s do a quick calculation – 40% more value on all the purchases you make compared to the cost of your subscription (which is going to be paid back in just a few purchases) – you’ll see that it is a great way to spoil yourself without breaking the bank!

Special privileges for VIP Members : :

2 free reservations per month (every month for the duration of your membership) for an upcoming displayed offer.
Don’t wait until the day the offer is put online to get the one you want –book it in advance. After these 2 free reservations in the same month, each additional reservation will cost $5.

No free early reservation for regular members.

Put back any paid and unused balance back in your Boutique Voir account for up to 6 months after purchase. You can change your mind and transfer any unused repayable balance as much as you want. You have up to 6 months after each purchase to put another repayable balance back in your wallet and to make other purchases on Boutique Voir (except occasional promotional offers).

Regular members have up to 3 months to make these transfers and these are not free.

Automatic cash back to your account for any sum (refundable balance) less than $10 unused for more than 60 days in your account.This feature makes sure that we won’t let you lose little sums often forgotten or left behind in Boutique Voir member accounts.

If a business closes its doors, you are protected for one year. However, if a business closes after the first year following your purchase, our warranty ceases and the sum will not be given back. Your VIP membership or new VIP plan offer will be based on the value of the purchases you made during your subscription.

Exclusive benefit: VIP members can use any unused paid amount to pay for new deals with another retailer.

What’s more, you might be eligible for a free auto-renewal, depending on the total amount of purchases you make during your subscription.

  • VIP Express + 40 % 3-month subscription – 45$ (15$/month)
    Free auto-renewal if your total purchases add up to 750$ or more for the whole duration of your subscription (3 months).
  • VIP Express + 40 % 6-month subscription – 60$ (10$/month)

Important: 40% is the maximum additional value you can get. A VIP subscription cannot be combined with other offers – for example, 75% more value promotions for selected retailers. Important: VIP subscriptions are not refundable. Free automatic renewals is valid only once, even if you spend the required amount twice.

What are the specific conditions for limited-time promotions?

Boutique Voir holds once in a while special promotions open to all and for a limited time, for selected businesses. These promotions are those with a higher % bonus than yours (whatever your % or membership status may be).

  • The % offered during a promotion does not add up to your % bonus.

For example : if a rapid sale promotion offers a 50% discount in some businesses, of course you can make a purchase but your bonus will not be added to the 50% already offered.

  • Special offers are final offers and no paid and unused sum/balance regarding these can be put back in your account.
  • 4-month warranty in case of a business closure

If a business for which you still have money in your account closes down during the 4 months following your purchase, we will put the paid sum back in your wallet, to use at your discretion for other purchases on Boutique Voir. However, if a business closes after the 4 months following your purchase, our warranty ceases and the sum will not be given back.

  • 4-month warranty on your % bonus for a specific promotion

To encourage you to visit the stores and restaurants for which there is an applied bonus in your account, and that you may have forgotten, a timer will be displayed in your online wallet. Your % bonus is protected for 4 months starting on the purchase date, then you will only have the paid sum and not the paid sum with bonus.

I was online before 10:00AM but the deal had already expired at 10:01. Why?

Boutique Voir’s daily deals go live at 10:00 AM for every $1000 mark. Each restaurant or business is updated for each $1000 mark every few days. However, all it takes is 10 members who get $75 each (before added value) in the first seconds for the deal to be off, even if several hundreds of online users are currently waiting online for the update. However, in order to reach out to more users, the amount allotted for a single transaction on a very popular deal is now limited to $50.

Will retailers be able to only see the amount for their business?

Yes, of course. Each retailer will be able to see only the amount for their business by swiping your card on their Boutique Voir terminal. They will then be able to validate your purchase with solely the amount available for their business. They will not be able to see that total amount you have on your card for other retailers.

Will I be able to check the balance available for every retailer?

Yes. The card balance that shows in your account is adjusted in real time. Also, our wallet feature allows you to use your unused balance to pay for new deals with another retailer.

What are the conditions related to local purchases made at Boutique Voir’s affiliated businesses?

There are no restrictions and no expiration date for you to spend your available balance (according to the terms and warranty periods of your VIP or Regular membership>/strong>). Therefore, you can buy everything you want when you go to the stores or restaurants for which you have a balance on your Boutique Voir account. You may enjoy, when applicable, local promotions or discounts offered by the merchant. There is no set menu in restaurants. Taxes on your purchase are also payable with your Boutique Voir card, but the tip must be paid separately.

And if you still have a paid but unused sum left for a business, you can put it back in your account to make other purchases on Boutique Voir.

What happens with my unused balance for specific retailers?

Our Cash Back to my Wallet feature allows you to retrieve the money you used to purchase your Boutique Voir deals. In just a few clicks, you can choose to transfer your repayable balance in your e-wallet, in order to spend it on new deals as you please.

Balances of less than $10 that have been inactive for at least 30 days will automatically be transferred to your wallet. According to our Terms and Conditions, if no transaction has been made during the past month, your repayable balance will be automatically transferred to your wallet. This transaction will be highlighted in your account and clearly mentioned in your monthly account statement.

What happens if a retailer closes its doors?

While we are not legally responsible for retailers that close their doors, we do offer an exceptional 12-month warranty (for VIP Members) and six months warranty (for Regular Members) for all retailers online on Boutique Voir. If a retailer for which you have an amount in your account is closing in the 6 to 12 months following your purchase, we will credit the amount to your e-wallet and you will then be able to use it to take advantage of other deals that are currently online. However, if a retailer closes after the first year following your purchase, our guarantee is no longer applicable and you lose the amount. This feature, along with account notifications, is there to encourage you to visit the stores for which you put up funds. Too many members forget this and leave unused funds and miss great opportunities to go out and discover new and exciting venues.

I lost my card. What should I do?

If you do not currently have your personalized card in your possession: your card can be replaced. A $10 fee applies. To get a new card, click here. We will issue a new card and send it by mail. Please note that issuing a new card will deactivate the one you lost and that all your remaining balances will be transferred to your new card.

Is my personal information protected?

Yes. From the moment you’re connected to the boutique and throughout your transactions, you are navigating a secured website guaranteed by an SSL certificate from Thawte, a certification authority. You should also note that we do not retain your credit card number in our database and that we do not share your personal information with anyone. Furthermore, all transactions are processed with the help of the PayPal Pro platform, which has practically become a monetary standard on the web.

What if I am disappointed with what is offered by a retailer upon my visit?

At Boutique Voir, we make sure to select restaurants and retailers that offer a wide range of interesting products and services. Retailers and restaurants regularly change their offering, and you’ll certainly find something to your taste upon your next visit. We cannot give refunds if you are disappointed with your meal or a purchase you made, but you are encouraged to share your concerns directly with the retailer.
However, our wallet feature allows you to use your unused balance to pay for new deals with another retailer.
